Bonneville Rebooted: Triumph’s Classic Trio Get a 2026 Update
Triumph’s done it again – giving its much-loved Bonneville line-up a fresh tweak for 2026, with updated T100, T120, and T120 Black models. Still unmistakably Bonneville, these new bikes bring modern tech and subtle styling upgrades while keeping that timeless 1950s silhouette that’s won so many fans (and started more than a few bike obsessions).
Classic Looks, Fresh Paint
The T100 and T120 still rock the sculpted tank, rubber knee pads, and that proud tank badge – but now with even more polish. Triumph’s added two fresh colour schemes for the T100 and T120, and the T120 Black scores a moody new monochrome finish. The paint’s hand-done, the detailing’s spot on, and the end result is pure eye candy for anyone who loves proper metal over plastic fairings.
All the Tech, None of the Fuss
This isn’t just a beauty touch-up. Under the tank, Triumph’s tucked in a solid mix of rider-focused tech. Cornering ABS and traction control that actually helps, not hinders. A proper LED headlight with daytime running light. USB-C in the cockpit for keeping your kit charged on the go. And yep – cruise control is now standard on the T120s, and available for the T100. Best bit? It’s all hidden neatly so the bikes still look clean and classic, not like a laptop with wheels.
Engines That Just Get It
The T120s pack Triumph’s 1,200cc “High Torque” twin, serving up a meaty 105Nm at just 3,500rpm and a solid 80PS at 6,550rpm – perfect for easy overtakes and smooth Sunday blasts. The T100 sticks with the 900cc version, offering 65PS at 7,000rpm and 80Nm at 3,750rpm, making it friendly for newer riders but still grin-inducing for seasoned hands. Both engines use a 270° crank for that unmistakable Bonneville rumble, and they’re EURO 5 compliant – because clean air means more riding days.
Licence-Friendly but Still Full of Character
For anyone on an A2 licence, Triumph now offers a restrictor kit for the T120 and T120 Black, which can be removed when you're ready to go full-fat. The T100 is A2-ready out the crate, which makes it a great pick for new riders who want a proper bike without outgrowing it too fast.
Confidence on the Road
Handling’s sorted too, with a steel twin-cradle frame, KYB cartridge forks, and twin rear shocks you can tweak for preload. Brakes are spot-on – Brembos on the T120s, and a two-pot Nissin up front on the T100 (with Nissin at the back across the board). Add in spoked wheels, grippy Michelin Road Classics, and a comfy 790mm seat height, and you’ve got bikes that feel planted, predictable, and just plain fun. Whether you're heading for the coast or carving through backroads, these Bonnevilles are proper mates for the ride.
Coming Soon – Ready to Reserve
In the UK, you can spec and reserve your 2026 Bonneville online through Triumph’s “Reserve My Triumph” setup. Deliveries kick off February 2026, with the T100 starting from £9,695, and the T120 and T120 Black from £12,195. They all come with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty and 10,000-mile service intervals – solid peace of mind for bikes built to be ridden, not parked.
Still Got Soul
Triumph’s Paul Stroud nailed it: the T120 “defined a generation,” and this new batch keeps that spirit alive while making life easier for modern riders. With tech upgrades, fresh paint, and A2-ready options, the 2026 Bonneville line-up is ready for newbies and lifers alike. These are bikes built for good times, solo rides, meet-ups, and everything in between.
