LiveWire S2 Alpinista Corsa Concept: Race-Ready and Rapid Charging
LiveWire S2 Alpinista Corsa Concept: Electric Goes Full Throttle
Forget everything you thought you knew about electric bikes being slow or soft – LiveWire have just thrown down a proper gauntlet with their new S2 Alpinista Corsa concept. And yeah, it’s a looker – but it’s not just a pretty face.
This thing’s based on their S2 Alpinista platform, but they’ve ditched the stock setup and gone full-send. We’re talking Öhlins suspension front and rear, clip-ons, billet ally triple clamps, and rear-sets. Even the wheels are upgraded to carbon BST beauties. Lightweight, aggressive, and ready to scrap with the best of them.
And just when you think it’s all about the go-faster bits, they drop this: the 10kWh battery can go from 20% to 80% in under 10 minutes on DC fast charge. That’s bacon-bap-and-back-in-the-saddle speed. For real-world riders, that’s the sort of thing that makes an electric bike actually doable for longer rides – not just city hops.
Paint job? Oh, it’s loud. Neon pink, yellow, and unapologetic. The kind of bike you roll up on and people either nod in awe or wonder if they’ve just walked into a cyberpunk fever dream. Either way, you’ve got their attention.
It’s all part of LiveWire’s play to prove electric bikes aren’t just for tech nerds or eco-commuters – they’re building something with real attitude and edge. Alongside the Corsa, they’ve also got a 'Patrol' version aimed at coppers and fleets, but let’s be honest – we’re here for the one that looks like it’s about to blast up a hill climb at warp speed.
Will it actually come to market in this spec? Hard to say. Some of the trick bits might be there just to make us go “phwoar” on Instagram. But even so, it shows where they’re heading – and it’s not a bad direction. Not bad at all.
We’ll be keeping an eye on it when it drops at EICMA in Milan – and yeah, we’ll report back with all the juicy bits. Until then, the idea of an electric bike with this kind of punch and personality? Colour us curious.
What do you reckon – would this tempt you to ditch the petrol for pink and plug-in?
