Verge TS Pro Update

Verge TS Pro Update: Lighter Donut Motor 2.0, Bigger Battery & More Brainpower

Verge have taken their wild, hubless TS Pro and given it a proper 2026 refresh for EICMA – lighter motor, more range, more tech, and the same “hang on… where’s the rest of the rear wheel?” vibe.

Here at Lid Life, we’re always up for anything that looks like it’s ridden in from a sci-fi film but still lets you stop for a bacon bap. This one? Oh, it’s got our attention alright.

What’s New for the TS Pro?

The TS Pro has been Verge’s best-selling electric model since 2023, and now it’s back with upgrades everywhere you look. The mission this time: keep the mad power and hubless wizardry, but make it lighter, smarter, and better for real-world miles – whether you’re commuting, carving corners, or just out clearing your head with a blast down your favourite B-road.

Lighter Donut, Same 1,000Nm Shove

The headline act is the new Donut Motor 2.0 – still slinging out a bonkers 1,000Nm of torque and roughly 102kW (137bhp), but now around 50% lighter. That drops the whole bike to a claimed 230kg and trims unsprung mass, meaning sharper handling and smoother stability.

0–100km/h? Still just over 3.5 seconds. Fast enough to remove your soul via the back of your jacket.

  • Motor: Donut Motor 2.0 (hubless rim motor)
  • Power: ~102kW
  • Torque: 1,000Nm
  • 0–100km/h: just over 3.5 seconds
  • Weight: 230kg (claimed)

If you’re wondering what 1,000Nm through a wheel with a big hole in the middle feels like… so are we. Strictly for research, obviously.

Bigger Battery, Faster Coffee-Stop Charging

The upgraded 20.2kWh battery boosts range to a claimed 350km / 217 miles – depending on how enthusiastic your right wrist is.

DC fast-charging now gets you from low to high in under 35 minutes. And a quick 15-minute stretch-your-legs-and-grab-a-cuppa stop nets you about 100km extra range. That’s proper touring-friendly stuff.

It supports both CCS (EU) and NACS (US), so you’re not stuck hunting obscure plugs while your mates are already halfway through their snacks.

Starmatter: When Your Bike’s Cleverer Than Your Phone

The cockpit gets a tidy overhaul, with bigger, clearer displays and a more intuitive layout – perfect if you enjoy nerding out over energy usage between twisties.

At the heart of it is Starmatter, Verge’s evolving software platform that brings together OTA updates, sensors, AI-driven personalisation, and improved HMI. Basically: the bike gets better over time, without you touching a spanner.

Bluetooth connectivity is now standard, so pairing your phone should no longer require chanting or sacrificing a fuse.

Chassis Tweaks Based on Real Riders

Verge say they’ve taken onboard feedback from owners and demo riders, tweaking the suspension for more comfort and stability. The riding position has also been refined, with a relaxed 25° posture angle that lands somewhere between sporty and “I could do this all day”.

When Can You Ride One?

The updated TS Pro is available to order now through Verge’s website and selected showrooms in regions like Germany and the UK. Riders in the US can already reserve one, with test rides expected early 2026.

Price? Expect roughly €30k / £26k once taxes and fees have their say – definitely premium, but this is premium electric exotica after all.

The Lid Life Take: Fancy Doughnut, Serious Intent

The refreshed TS Pro isn’t dipping a toe into electric performance – it’s a running-jump cannonball. Huge torque, slick tech, big range, and that iconic hubless rear wheel that never gets old.

Would we have one in the Lid Life garage? Absolutely. Though we’d probably lose an afternoon just staring through the back wheel and making “who needs a paddock stand now?” jokes.

And if this has got you daydreaming about your next ride, don’t forget – you can browse the biggest free bike classifieds around and even list your own bike for free. Built by bikers, for bikers… and for more bikes.
